newboard.in publishes facts about Indian IPOs: plain-language studies of each company's offer document, and the exchanges' and registrars' data on bidding, allotment and listing. This page says where that comes from, how the site is paid for, and what it will not do.

No advice on any security

  • newboard.in is not a SEBI-registered research analyst or investment adviser. Nothing on the site says whether to apply for, hold or dispose of any security.
  • There are no scores, ratings, verdicts, price targets, expected listing prices or grey-market premiums on the site.
  • Past listing figures appear only for listings more than 30 days old, on their own pages, and never beside a live issue.
  • The chance of an allotment is arithmetic on the exchange's bid book, set out on the methods page.

Sources

  • Offer documents (DRHP, UDRHP, RHP, prospectus) as posted on the NSE, BSE and SEBI websites, cited to the page.
  • Bid books, issue information, anchor allocation reports and trading holidays from NSE; listing-day prices from the exchanges.
  • SEBI's weekly processing status of draft offer documents.
  • Nothing is taken from grey-market dealers, social media or other IPO websites.

How the site is paid for

  • The site is free to read. It may carry advertising and sponsorship in future; this page will list each kind before it appears.
  • Every paid placement is labelled "Sponsored" or "Advertisement" and sits apart from the studies and the data.
  • An issuer, its promoters, its lead managers or its registrar cannot place an advertisement on that issue's pages, or anywhere on the site while that issue is bidding.
  • Advertisers can buy space. They cannot buy the analysis: no advertiser sees, shapes or approves a study, and a study is never changed because of a paid relationship.
  • If newboard ever joins a broker's referral programme, those links will be marked, listed here, and kept off the studies and the IPO pages.
