About Marushika Technology: business, products and customers

Marushika Technology supplies and installs IT and telecom equipment, such as server racks, data centre cooling, phone systems, video walls and cameras, mostly as a partner to bigger system integrators on government and metro projects. It has also started refurbishing defence vehicles, and its shares trade on NSE Emerge.

Marushika Technology, based in Delhi and Noida, buys servers, storage, racks, power and cooling gear, IP phone exchanges, surveillance cameras and video walls from equipment makers and their distributors, then installs, configures and maintains them on site. It owns no plant: goods are billed to the company and shipped straight to the customer's site.

Most work comes as a subcontractor or teaming partner to larger system integrators such as Bharat Electronics, Larsen and Toubro and Niveshan Technologies, on projects for Delhi Metro, smart cities, railways and government offices. In the six months to September 2025, 95.67% of revenue was booked to private entities and Delhi alone gave 56.64%.

Newer lines are refurbishing and reverse engineering defence vehicles, AI video analytics through a non-exclusive reseller deal with Graymatics, and a learning platform the company has built. The shares listed on NSE Emerge in February 2026.

Marushika Technology debt and cash flow

Balance sheet · Cash flow · Working capital

The company's own money, its net worth, has grown fast. It cut its borrowings last year. Its loans are smaller than its own money. Last year the business brought in less cash than it showed as profit, so part of the profit is still to be collected. It spent more on assets and investments than the business brought in, and raised the rest from loans or shares. Customers pay faster than they did in FY24, which frees up the company's money.

Is it a good business? Six questions

Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.

Marushika Technology earns a margin on equipment it buys from makers and on the installation work it adds, mostly as a subcontractor to bigger firms on government projects.

Its weak spots are thin margins when it is far down the chain, a few large customers, little that rivals cannot copy, and money tied up before it is paid.

WatchCan it set its own prices?Prices are set by tenders and by the system integrators it works under, and the margin depends on where it sits in the chain.
The evidence. The Managing Director put margins at 15% to 18% on a complete system integration job and 6% to 8% when not working directly with a PSU or system integrator. About four fifths of revenue in the six months to September 2025 came from subcontracted work.Earnings call, May 2026, p.11; Prospectus, p.198
WatchHow strong is it against rivals? Its strengths are empanelments and ties with equipment makers and integrators, none of them exclusive.
The evidence. The prospectus says it faces organised and unorganised rivals, that its ties with equipment makers average one to six years and with top customers one to four years. The Graymatics deal makes it a non-exclusive distributor and reseller.Prospectus, p.189 to 190 and p.193; Investor presentation, March 2026, p.5
WatchWho are its customers?A handful of system integrators and PSUs give most of the revenue, and most of the work is in and around Delhi.
The evidence. In the six months to September 2025 the largest customer gave 28.35% of revenue and the top ten 82.96%; Delhi gave 56.64%. The prospectus lists high reliance on major clients as a weakness.Prospectus, p.192, p.197 and p.198 to 199
WatchDoes it need a lot of money? It needs no plant, but a lot of money is held in goods and unbilled work before customers pay, and payment on indirect government work comes through the integrator.
The evidence. The prospectus calls the business high working capital intensive and says payment on orders taken through a system integrator is released by that integrator. Current borrowings were ₹4.4 cr at March 2026, down from ₹18.8 cr a year earlier.Prospectus, p.180 and p.192; Investor presentation, March 2026, p.7
AverageCan it keep finding new work?It keeps winning small and medium orders and new customers, but the order book covers only a few months of sales.
The evidence. Orders in hand were more than ₹35 cr in May 2026. New customers gave ₹23.0 cr of the ₹48.6 cr revenue in the six months to September 2025, and new orders include ₹3.5 cr from Trisatya and ₹2.4 cr from NHAI.Earnings call, May 2026, p.9; Prospectus, p.198; Investor presentation, March 2026, p.5; Announcement, 25 August 2026, p.2
WatchDo good and bad years swing a lot?The mix of customers and places changes a lot from year to year, as it rests on a few large project orders.
The evidence. PSU entities gave 21.05% of revenue in FY25 but 4.13% in the six months to September 2025; Uttar Pradesh gave 33.48% in FY25 and 5.18% in that half, and Singapore revenue appeared in FY24 only.Prospectus, p.196 to 197
