Bondada Engineering debt and cash flow
Balance sheet · Cash flow · Working capitalThe company's own money, its net worth, has grown fast. It borrowed much more last year. Its loans are smaller than its own money. Last year the business brought in less cash than it showed as profit, so part of the profit is still to be collected. Customers take about as long to pay as they did in FY24.
Bars below the line are cash going out.

What the company said, and what happened
The company's own statements, attributed, set against what it later reported; not newboard's estimates
On the April 2026 call, Chairman Raghavendra Rao Bondada said revenue and profit could grow around 60% to 70% in FY27, and CFO Satyanarayana Baratam said EBITDA margin should stay the same or improve by 20 to 30 basis points. For FY27 the company plans to move to the Main Board of BSE and NSE, commission 1.5 GWp of EPC projects and set up an integrated manufacturing plant. It states a 2030 aim of 25 GW of renewable capacity and USD 1 billion of revenue, and plans to build the 2 GW Andhra Pradesh project in phases up to 2030. On 5 October 2026 it announced a State Bank of India term loan sanction for a 225 MW solar IPP project, and on 6 October 2026 a further work order; amounts and terms were not in the subject lines available.
Is it a good business? Six questions
Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.
Bondada Engineering earns its money building solar plants and telecom networks for large customers, using towers and structures it makes itself.
Its weak spots are thin contract margins won in tenders, a lot of money tied up in stock and unpaid bills, and a move into owning projects that need fresh capital.
AverageCan it set its own prices? Most work is won in tenders, so prices are competitive, but margins have held up and edged higher over the year.
AverageHow strong is it against rivals?Making its own towers and mounting structures and a long record in telecom help, but it still wins only a fraction of the tenders it bids for.
AverageWho are its customers?Large state-owned and private power and telecom companies, which pay reliably but give work in big, separate projects.
WatchDoes it need a lot of money?Yes. Stock and unpaid bills grow with each big project, and the storage and own-solar projects need equity and long loans.
StrongCan it keep finding new work?Work in hand covers well over a year of sales, and new orders have kept arriving across solar, storage and telecom.
AverageDo good and bad years swing a lot?Yearly sales have risen without a break, but as a project business its quarters move with when big jobs are billed.
