About Rockingdeals Circular Economy: business, products and customers

Rockingdeals Circular Economy buys branded goods that brands and sellers could not move, such as extra stock, returned open-box items and refurbished appliances, and resells them cheaply to shops, dealers and shoppers. It is based in Faridabad and its shares trade on NSE Emerge.

The company, set up in 2002 and trading since 2005, buys surplus, open-box, returned and refurbished goods from brands and distributors across small home appliances, electronics, apparel and footwear. It checks and grades the goods and sells them in bulk to retailers, distributors and corporate buyers in metros, smaller towns and remote areas, and also through franchise stores and sales events. In November 2024 the managing director put sales at about 80% business buyers and 20% retail shoppers.

As a trader it books the full value of the goods it resells, and its profit is the gap between the price of each lot and what it fetches after grading, storage and repair, so margins move from lot to lot. Cash goes into stock long before it comes back: in FY26 stock rose by ₹24.3 crore and cash from operations was an outflow, met partly by a rights issue of partly paid shares at ₹160 each.

Read more about the business

Rockingdeals Private Limited, in which the managing director holds 90.09%, runs retail stores, buys most of its stock from the company and has a non-compete agreement with it; it was the largest customer when the company listed. Two subsidiaries were added in 2024: Rocking Deals General Trading in Dubai, which sells on Noon and Amazon Middle East, is the Forbes brand trading partner for Eureka Forbes in the Gulf and handles near-expiry stock for Amazon UAE; and Sustainquest, a quick commerce and distribution arm in India.

The annual report says the trade is still mostly unorganised and names large e-commerce players, organised retailers and specialised re-commerce platforms as competitors without naming them. Newjaisa Technologies, an NSE Emerge company that sells refurbished electronics, appeared among its top customers in FY23.

From the offer document (prospectus, 2023), the annual report for FY26, the H1 FY25 results call (November 2024), the press releases of October and November 2025 and the company's announcements of November 2025 to July 2026.

Sales have grown very fast. Last year profit grew more slowly than sales, so the profit kept from each rupee of sales slipped.

Exceptional and other items: profit before tax beyond operating profit, other income, interest and depreciation, such as one-off items or a share of associates' profit, as reported.

A tax rate above 60% or below zero (FY21) comes from tax charged on a small or negative profit, as reported.

Earnings per share before FY23 is on the share count of that time, before later bonus or share issues, so it does not compare with the years after.

Rockingdeals Circular Economy debt and cash flow

Balance sheet · Cash flow · Working capital

The company's own money, its net worth, has grown fast. It borrowed much more last year. Its loans are smaller than its own money. Last year the business used more cash than it brought in. It spent more on assets and investments than the business brought in, and raised the rest from loans or shares. Customers take longer to pay than they did in FY24, which ties up more of the company's money in unpaid bills.

Is it a good business? Six questions

Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.

Rockingdeals buys branded goods that found no buyer the first time, grades them and resells them cheaply, earning the gap on each lot.

Its weak spots are cash locked in stock, heavy dealings with companies owned by the promoter family, and profits that depend on how well each lot is bought.

WatchCan it set its own prices? Each lot is priced deal by deal, and the company itself expects pressure on margins.
The evidence. The annual report lists margin pressure from logistics, refurbishment and operating costs and pricing pressure from competition among its threats.Annual report FY26, p.55 to 56
AverageHow strong is it against rivals? It has long brand ties and a wide dealer network in a mostly unorganised trade, but large online players are moving in.
The evidence. The company names large e-commerce players, organised retailers and re-commerce platforms as rising competition.Annual report FY26, p.55
WatchWho are its customers?A few buyers take most of the goods, and the biggest has been a company owned by the promoter family.
The evidence. The top five gave 81.56% of FY23 revenue, led by Rockingdeals Private Limited; up to ₹10 cr a year of dealings with that company are put to shareholders.Offer document, p.21; Annual report FY26, p.31
WatchDoes it need a lot of money?Growth means buying more stock first, so the business keeps needing fresh cash.
The evidence. Stock rose by ₹24.3 cr in FY26 and cash from operations was an outflow of ₹21.4 cr; management said in 2024 that operating cash flow would stay negative while it grew fast.Annual report FY26, p.139; Transcript, November 2024 call, p.10
AverageCan it keep finding new work?New brand tie-ups, the Dubai arm and quick commerce widen its reach, but each lot has to be found and bought again.
The evidence. The Forbes brand deal in the Gulf, Amazon UAE near-expiry work and the GRENEW partnership were added in 2025 and 2026; there are no long term supply contracts.Press releases, 1 October and 12 November 2025; Announcement, 16 February 2026
WatchDo good and bad years swing a lot?Sales and margins depend on what surplus is available and how cheaply it is bought, so results can move sharply.
The evidence. FY25 revenue grew about 12% against a stated aim of at least 100%; FY26 revenue more than doubled.Annual report FY25, p.70; Annual report FY26, p.56; Transcript, November 2024 call, p.23
