About Akiko Global Services: business, products and customers

Akiko Global Services finds people who want a credit card or a loan and passes them to banks and finance companies, which pay it a fee for each card issued or loan paid out. It is also building a payments app called AkikoPay.

Akiko Global Services, which trades under the MoneyFair name, is a direct selling agent for more than 40 banks and finance companies. It sources customers for credit cards, personal loans, business loans and home loans through telecallers, field staff, branches and digital marketing, and the lender decides and lends. The lender pays it a commission, which the company puts at 3% to 4% of the loan amount and ₹2,500 to ₹4,000 per card.

Because it earns a fee and does not lend, it needs little plant or capital, but a large part of each fee is paid on to others: services bought in took about three fifths of FY26 revenue, and staff costs most of the rest. Lenders pay commissions some months after the business is done, so unpaid bills have grown with sales and cash from operations has been negative for three years.

Read more about the business

It has three subsidiaries: Akiko Global Commercial Broker in the UAE (70%), a credit card agent for banks there; M11 Insurance Agents (75%), an agent for loans and insurance; and White Lotus Broker Network (51%). AkikoPay, its new app for payments, a wallet, prepaid cards and credit offers, went live on Android and Apple in mid 2026 and is meant to keep customers coming back for more products.

For AkikoPay the founder names Paytm, PhonePe and CRED as the apps it wants to compete with; for the core business the documents name no listed peers.

From the offer document, the 2025-26 annual report, the May 2026 and July 2026 earnings calls, the July 2026 investor presentation and the company's September and October 2026 exchange announcements.

The company's own money, its net worth, has grown fast. It borrowed much more last year. Its loans are smaller than its own money. Last year the business used more cash than it brought in. It spent more on assets and investments than the business brought in, and raised the rest from loans or shares. Customers pay faster than they did in FY24, which frees up the company's money.

Is it a good business? Six questions

Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.

Akiko Global Services earns a fee from banks for each card and loan it brings in, without lending its own money.

Its weak spots are that a few lenders set the fees, that a large share of each fee is paid on to others, and that lenders pay late.

WatchCan it set its own prices?Lenders decide the commission they pay, so the company has little say over its fee rates.
The evidence. The company states blended fees of 3% to 4% on loans and ₹2,500 to ₹4,000 per card; services bought in took about three fifths of FY26 revenue.Investor presentation, July 2026, p.5 and p.28
AverageHow strong is it against rivals? It has many lender ties and mixes branches with digital sourcing, but finding customers for banks is a crowded business with low barriers.
The evidence. The company has more than 40 banking partners and sources about 70% of cards through digital channels; the founder said its peers are either purely digital or purely offline.Investor presentation, July 2026, p.9; Earnings call, July 2026, p.4
WatchWho are its customers? Its paying customers are banks and finance companies, and a handful of them have brought in nearly all revenue.
The evidence. Top ten customers gave 93.26% of FY23 revenue.Offer document, p.40
AverageDoes it need a lot of money? It needs few assets, but lenders pay late, so money owed to it has grown and short term borrowing has risen.
The evidence. Trade receivables were ₹63.2 cr and short term borrowings ₹12.4 cr at March 2026; operating cash flow was negative in each of FY24, FY25 and FY26.Investor presentation, July 2026, p.29 and p.30
StrongCan it keep finding new work?Loans and cards sourced have grown each quarter as it added staff, branches and digital marketing.
The evidence. Revenue rose from ₹29.5 cr in the June 2025 quarter to ₹68.1 cr in the June 2026 quarter, with more than ₹450 cr of loans sourced a month.Investor presentation, July 2026, p.10 and p.25
AverageDo good and bad years swing a lot?Fees depend on how freely banks lend, and the UAE unit shows how outside events can cut business quickly.
The evidence. The founder said UAE revenue fell to about ₹1.25 cr in the June 2026 quarter because of the war, before reviving.Earnings call, July 2026, p.8 and p.9
