About DRS Dilip Roadlines: business, products and customers
DRS Dilip Roadlines packs and moves household goods for families and companies across India and carries freight for businesses, from its base in Secunderabad. Its shares trade on NSE Emerge.
DRS Dilip Roadlines runs a packers and movers business across India, along with full truck freight for companies. In FY26 household moving brought in ₹164.8 cr of its ₹184.0 cr of sales and commercial freight the rest. The offer document says it works under the Agarwal Packers and Movers name, which it does not own and which a separated part of the founding family also uses.
Most of the trucks it uses are hired: vehicle hire and upkeep cost ₹130.6 cr in FY26, so the company keeps only a thin margin on each move. Under the paid booking mode the offer document describes, customers pay when they book, while truck owners and other suppliers are paid later; the money customers owe it is small next to what it owes suppliers. That gap leaves the company holding cash, and the interest and gains on that cash make up much of its profit before tax.
Read more about the business
The cash has gone into loans at 9% to DRS Cargo Movers, MDN Edify Education and Crest Educational and Charitable Trust, all named as related parties, and into ₹10 cr of preference shares of MDN Edify Education, an education company in which the promoters hold shares. It also holds listed shares, small stakes in unlisted start-ups, mutual funds and chit funds.
The annual report describes Indian logistics as highly fragmented, with more than a thousand active participants, and names customers such as MRF, Tata Consultancy Services, TTK Prestige and Mahindra and Mahindra. The documents name no listed peers.
From the offer document (Prospectus, 2018), the annual reports for 2024-25 and 2025-26 and the company's exchange filings of February and June 2026.

- The ₹10 cr preference share investment in MDN Edify Education, the promoters' education company (exchange filing, 14 February 2026).
- The FY25 auditor's emphasis of matter on ₹6.1 cr of payables transferred against a loan receivable from DRS Cargo (annual report 2024-25, p.73).
- A new company secretary after Siva Rama Krishna Tekulapalli resigned with immediate effect on 1 June 2026 (exchange filing, 1 June 2026).
- Its borrowings rose a lot last year: ₹8.4 cr, from ₹1.9 cr.

A tax rate above 60% or below zero (FY15, FY16, FY17) comes from tax charged on a small or negative profit, as reported.
Earnings per share before FY18 is on the share count of that time, before later bonus or share issues, so it does not compare with the years after.

DRS Dilip Roadlines debt and cash flow
Balance sheet · Cash flow · Working capitalThe company's own money, its net worth, has grown. It borrowed much more last year. Its loans are smaller than its own money. Last year the business brought in less cash than it showed as profit, so part of the profit is still to be collected. It spent more on assets and investments than the business brought in, and raised the rest from loans or shares. Customers pay faster than they did in FY24, which frees up the company's money.

Is it a good business? Six questions
Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.
DRS Dilip Roadlines earns a thin margin moving households and freight on mostly hired trucks across India.
Its weak spots are sales that have stopped growing, a brand it does not own outright, and spare cash lent to and invested in companies linked to its promoters.
WatchCan it set its own prices? Not much. The company calls the market highly competitive with pricing pressure, and it keeps only a thin margin after paying for hired trucks.
AverageHow strong is it against rivals? Its nationwide network and long running household moving name set it apart from small local movers, but the name is shared with a separated family group.
StrongWho are its customers?Sales are spread across many households and companies, so no single buyer matters much.
StrongDoes it need a lot of money?Little. It hires most of its trucks and is paid early by customers, so the moving business ties up little money.
WatchCan it keep finding new work?Sales have barely moved for several years, and a growth target set in 2025 was not met.
AverageDo good and bad years swing a lot?Sales are steady from year to year, but profit moves with other income and with costs such as damage claims and advertising.
