About Jayesh Logistics: business, products and customers
Jayesh Logistics runs trucks that carry heavy industrial cargo such as steel, coal and cement across eastern India and into Nepal, and also handles the loading of railway wagons. Its shares trade on NSE Emerge.
Jayesh Logistics moves bulk loads of 30 to 40 tonnes, mostly iron and steel, coal, cement and heavy machinery, for over 200 industrial clients. It uses its own trucks and trucks hired from other operators, and also earns from loading and unloading railway rakes, customs clearance and machinery hire. Freight made up 76.16% of FY26 revenue and these other services the rest.
For most of its history the company worked the Indo Nepal corridor, carrying cargo from Kolkata and Haldia across the Raxaul border into Nepal, and Nepal gave 63.53% of FY25 revenue. In FY26 it started work in two new regions: plant to plant clinker and coal movement in Assam for Dalmia Bharat Cement, and coal movement in the Chhattisgarh to Madhya Pradesh belt for Adani (Mahan Energen).

Jayesh Logistics debt and cash flow
Balance sheet · Cash flow · Working capitalThe company's own money, its net worth, has grown fast. It borrowed much more last year. Its loans are smaller than its own money. Last year the business used more cash than it brought in. It spent more on assets and investments than the business brought in, and raised the rest from loans or shares. Customers take longer to pay than they did in FY24, which ties up more of the company's money in unpaid bills.
Bars below the line are cash going out.

Is it a good business? Six questions
Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.
Jayesh Logistics earns its money by moving heavy loads for steel, coal, cement and power companies with its own and hired trucks, and its own trucks earn more of each rupee than hired ones.
Its weak spots are a small group of big customers, a heavy reliance on the route into Nepal, and a fleet that now needs a lot of new work and borrowed money to keep busy.
WatchCan it set its own prices?Trucking is a crowded trade with many small operators bidding on price. Fuel cost rises are passed on through contract clauses, not by setting prices freely.
AverageHow strong is it against rivals? It is known for the hard cross border route into Nepal and has won industry awards there. It is much smaller than the listed trucking companies it compares itself with.
WatchWho are its customers?Large steel, cement and power companies that have stayed for years. A few of them bring in most of the money.
WatchDoes it need a lot of money?Growth means paying for new trucks and waiting to be paid by customers. In FY26 both rose and borrowing went up even after the share issue.
AverageCan it keep finding new work?It won large new customers in Assam and central India in FY26. Setting up in those regions took months, and contracts run for a year or two at a time.
AverageDo good and bad years swing a lot?Sales have grown every year since FY23, but the share coming from Nepal moves a lot from one period to the next. Fuel prices and driver shortages can squeeze costs.
