About Kody Technolab: business, products and customers
Kody Technolab is an Ahmedabad software company that now builds its own robots: Odigo, a robot that moves around malls showing advertisements and guiding shoppers, and Medigo, a robot that runs quick health check ups without a doctor. Its shares trade on NSE Emerge.
Kody Technolab began as a builder of software and apps and calls itself a deep tech company in robotics and AI. Its first robot, Odigo, carries screens through malls and hypermarkets, so a media owner can offer moving advertisements that can be targeted by floor, zone and time of day, with reports on how many people saw them. Medigo, launched in March 2026, is a self service health screening robot that the company says can check for more than 65 conditions and give a report in about three minutes.
Its biggest deals run through Falcon Tech Robotics, a UAE joint venture between Kody Technolab and Platinum Group for Businessmen Services. In November 2025 Falcon signed LuLu Group International for 290 Odigo robots across 60 UAE stores on an advertising revenue sharing basis, and Hypermedia, a UAE outdoor advertising company, for 360 robots across 30 malls and the Dubai Expo site. In June 2026 Kody Technolab became the exclusive worldwide maker of the four Medigo robots, with Falcon as distributor and Sccore AI Tech Diagnostic deploying them.
Read more about the business
Because the contracts are signed by the joint venture, and the LuLu deal pays from advertising earned, the filings read do not show how much of each deal reaches Kody Technolab's own sales, or when. The documents read do not split sales between software services and robots, and they name no competing companies, so no peers are given here.
What is new: the company issued convertible warrants at ₹975 a share in February 2026 and has been converting them through 2026, and in August 2026 it ended a planned drone joint venture with Vira Drones of Switzerland, which had never been set up.
From the company's press releases of November 2025 and June 2026, the Medigo product announcement of March 2026, its exchange announcements of 2025 and 2026, and the reported results filed with NSE.

Kody Technolab debt and cash flow
Balance sheet · Cash flow · Working capitalThe company's own money, its net worth, has grown fast. It cut its borrowings last year. Its loans are smaller than its own money. Last year the business brought in less cash than it showed as profit, so part of the profit is still to be collected. It spent more on assets and investments than the business brought in, and raised the rest from loans or shares. Customers pay faster than they did in FY24, which frees up the company's money.
Bars below the line are cash going out.

What the company said, and what happened
The company's own statements, attributed, set against what it later reported; not newboard's estimates
The company says manufacture and supply of Medigo robots will begin in the first half of FY27 under a three year agreement with a binding minimum purchase framework, though it gives no value or unit count. Its joint venture Falcon Tech Robotics agreed in November 2025 to deploy 290 Odigo robots for LuLu in two phases and 360 for Hypermedia; the filings read give no value for either and no later count of robots deployed. The company says ending the Vira Drones venture will have no material effect.
Is it a good business? Six questions
Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.
Kody Technolab earns money from software work and, more and more, from robots it designs, sold or placed through its joint venture in the UAE.
Its weak spots are that the big robot deals run through one joint venture, the filings do not show how much of them reaches the company, and much of its sales are still waiting to be collected.
WatchCan it set its own prices? The filings read give no prices, and on the LuLu deal its income depends on advertising the robots earn rather than a fixed price.
AverageHow strong is it against rivals? It owns the robot designs and has exclusive rights to make Medigo, but the documents read name no rivals to measure it against.
WatchWho are its customers?Every large deal disclosed runs through one party, its own UAE joint venture, which then works with LuLu, Hypermedia and Sccore.
WatchDoes it need a lot of money?Making robots needs plant and stock, and customers take a long time to pay, so the company has been raising money through warrants.
AverageCan it keep finding new work?It has signed large robot agreements and launched a second robot, but none carries a stated value and the drone venture was dropped.
WatchDo good and bad years swing a lot?Its robot business is young and rests on a few large agreements, so sales and profit can move a lot with the timing of each deal.
