About Ace Alpha Tech: business, products and customers
Ace Alpha Tech builds automatic trading software for stock brokers, trading desks and active traders, and looks after it for them. Since late in its first listed year it also trades shares and derivatives with its own money. It is based in Delhi and Noida and its shares trade on BSE SME.
The company writes custom trading strategies and connects them to its clients' order and risk management systems, sells software licences, and earns fees for yearly maintenance, technical support and consulting. Its clients are proprietary trading desks, brokers, institutions and wealthy traders, mostly in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. At listing, customisation and consulting fees were over half of revenue and support, maintenance and licence fees the rest.
The business model shapes the numbers. A software and services firm of this kind has almost no material cost, so the main costs are staff and professional fees, which is why reported margins are very high; the company also capitalised ₹3.7 cr of in-house software development in FY26 rather than charging it as an expense. Since September 2025 it trades and invests with its own money, and its profit of ₹4.6 cr on securities held for trade is counted inside revenue from operations, while interest on loans it has given out sits in other income. Revenue and profit therefore now move with the stock market as well as with software sales.

The prospectus names 63 Moons Technologies as the listed company it competes with in trading technology, and says price is the deciding factor in most client decisions.
What is new: the company listed on BSE SME on 3 July 2025, raising ₹24.5 cr of fresh money at ₹69 a share, bought computer servers with part of it, and in FY26 bought stakes in unlisted companies including Silverleaf Capital Services and uTrade Solutions.
From the prospectus (June 2025) and the annual report for FY26.

- Sales have grown very fast: 69% a year over three years.
- It earns a high return on the money it uses: ROCE 40% in FY26.
- It has little debt for its size: debt to equity 0.00.
To watch
- Collection of the ₹23.7 cr owed by customers at March 2026 (Annual Report FY26, p.63).
- Results of the share trading business, which the segment note and the profit and loss statement report differently (Annual Report FY26, p.64 and p.69).
- What the ₹3.7 cr of in-house software under development turns into (Annual Report FY26, p.61).
- Purchases and sales of stakes in unlisted companies such as Silverleaf and uTrade Solutions (Annual Report FY26, p.38 and p.62).
- Customers take longer to pay than before: 357 days in FY26, against 269 in FY23.

Ace Alpha Tech revenue and profit growth
Half-yearly results · Profit and lossSales have grown very fast. Last year profit grew more slowly than sales, so the profit kept from each rupee of sales slipped.
SME companies report every six months. In the latest half, sales were higher than in the same half a year before. Profit grew more slowly than sales, so each rupee of sales left a little less profit.

Ace Alpha Tech debt and cash flow
Balance sheet · Cash flow · Working capitalThe company's own money, its net worth, has grown fast. It has almost no borrowings. Last year the business used more cash than it brought in. It spent more on assets and investments than the business brought in, and raised the rest from loans or shares. Customers take longer to pay than they did in FY24, which ties up more of the company's money in unpaid bills.
Bars below the line are cash going out.

Is it a good business? Six questions
Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.
The company earns fees for building and supporting trading software for a small group of brokers and trading desks, with very high margins because the work needs few people and no materials.
Its weak spots are dependence on a few clients, a large jump in money owed by customers, and a new habit of trading and investing its own money, which ties profit to the market.
AverageCan it set its own prices?Margins on its software work are high, but the company itself says price decides most client choices and that competition could squeeze margins.
AverageHow strong is it against rivals? It offers custom strategies that plug into clients' existing systems, but larger firms compete, and growing would mean making its products more standard.
WatchWho are its customers?A small number of brokers, trading desks and traders, mostly in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, and the ten largest gave most of revenue.
WatchDoes it need a lot of money? The software work needs little capital beyond servers, but customer dues, loans given out, investments and the trading book now tie up most of the balance sheet.
AverageCan it keep finding new work?Software revenue grew in FY26 and the issue money paid for servers to offer clients hardware with software, but no order book is disclosed and the new growth engine the company describes is its own trading.
WatchDo good and bad years swing a lot?Trading activity drives both its clients' spending and, now, its own trading profits, so a weak market can hit both at once.
