About Mobilise App Lab: business, products and customers

Mobilise App Lab makes online software that businesses, hospitals' maintenance contractors and schools rent each month to run their staff records and payroll, look after equipment, order supplies and manage students. Its shares trade on NSE Emerge.

Mobilise began in Faridabad, Haryana as Mobilise App Lab LLP in April 2013, became a private company in July 2023 and a public company in April 2025. It sells four products: HRevO for hiring, staff records and payroll; OpsSuite for tracking and maintaining equipment; SCMPro for buying and paying suppliers; and EduPro for running schools. The software runs on Microsoft Azure, and the company also fits RFID tags, GPS trackers, biometric machines and cameras that feed into it.

OpsSuite is used mostly by service companies that maintain medical equipment in government hospitals under state tenders; the offer document lists about 9.6 lakh biomedical assets managed across states from Bihar to Kerala. In April 2025 Bangalore International Airport gave it an asset tagging order, and EduPro served about 34,000 students in fifteen schools in August 2025.

Read more about the business

Most income is a monthly charge per employee, per asset or site, or per student, with lump sums for larger projects and extra fees for changes, so much of it repeats each year. Part of the cost is devices bought for clients, and some software development is recorded as an asset and written off over time rather than charged at once, which lifts reported margins now and adds to depreciation later.

The offer document names Unicommerce eSolutions and IRIS Business Services as listed software companies in its field and compares its figures with theirs, while noting they may not be direct competitors; it also names Zoho, Keka, Edunext and Version Systems among unlisted rivals.

From the offer document (Red Herring Prospectus, 2026) and the company's exchange announcement of 22 July 2026.

Is it a good business? Six questions

Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.

Mobilise rents out its software every month, so most income repeats, and it keeps a large share of each rupee because the software is already built.

Its weak spot is that one customer pays more than half the bills, and most of the rest comes from a handful of others.

AverageCan it set its own prices?Clients pay monthly charges for software built around their needs, but the company says price often decides who wins the work.
The evidence. Revenue is a monthly recurring charge plus change costs, priced per employee, asset, site or student (p.158). The offer document says price is often a key deciding factor in awarding projects (p.157).Offer document, p.157 and p.158
AverageHow strong is it against rivals? It has a niche in tracking hospital equipment for state programmes, but faces large software firms and many small ones.
The evidence. About 9.6 lakh biomedical assets managed on OpsSuite (p.149). Rivals named include Zoho, Keka, Unicommerce and IRIS, along with many small unorganised operators (p.157).Offer document, p.149 and p.157
WatchWho are its customers?Businesses rather than individuals, with one unnamed customer giving well over half of revenue.
The evidence. Top customer 57.78% and top ten 94.08% of revenue in the nine months to December 2025; the top customer was 75.07% in FY25 (p.167). Revenue from Maharashtra was 53.56% (p.28).Offer document, p.28 and p.167
StrongDoes it need a lot of money? No. It has few physical assets and has needed little borrowing; the issue money goes mainly to people and computers.
The evidence. The offer document notes limited tangible assets, mostly computer software (p.38). Total borrowing was ₹0.19 cr in December 2025 (p.20). Issue money is for hiring, marketing and IT infrastructure (p.84).Offer document, p.20, p.38 and p.84
AverageCan it keep finding new work?Existing clients keep buying and add modules, and new names such as an airport have come in, but growth has relied on word of mouth.
The evidence. Repeat customers gave 83.74% of revenue in the nine months to December 2025 (p.158). Bangalore International Airport placed an order in April 2025 (p.149). The offer document says sales growth has been fuelled largely by word of mouth (p.172).Offer document, p.149, p.158 and p.172
AverageDo good and bad years swing a lot?Monthly charges keep income steady, but the work behind the largest client depends on government tenders that can change.
The evidence. OpsSuite is used by service providers mainly on projects awarded through state level tenders (p.149). Repeat customers gave 92.94% of revenue in FY25 and 98.06% in FY24 (p.44).Offer document, p.44 and p.149
