About Savy Infra and Logistics: business, products and customers

Savy Infra and Logistics digs, levels and prepares the ground for roads, plants and other big projects, and trucks away the soil and rock it moves. It also trades and hauls minerals such as iron ore and coal, and its shares trade on NSE Emerge.

Savy Infra and Logistics does earthwork and foundation work for roads, embankments, industrial plants and other civil projects, and moves the dug out soil and rock to dumping sites. It also trades and transports iron ore, coal, quartzite and manganese sulphate, and does civil work for government and semi government properties as a sub contractor. In FY25, construction work gave 80.36% of revenue and trucking 14.18%.

The company does not own trucks or heavy machines; it rents them from small fleet owners, who usually run two to five trucks each, and hires site labour as needed. It wins most of its work from large companies that have already won the main contract, by direct negotiation rather than bidding. It had 35 permanent employees at March 2026, with its registered office in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

Read more about the business

The company was set up in 2006 as Shubhangi Metal, and the present promoters took it over in 2019; until FY22 all its work came from the Jindal Group. It listed on NSE Emerge in July 2025, raising ₹70.0 cr. Revenue rose to ₹638.3 cr in FY26, and most of the year's costs went on goods bought for trading.

Savy Infra and Logistics debt and cash flow

Balance sheet · Cash flow · Working capital

The company's own money, its net worth, has grown fast. Its loans are smaller than its own money. Last year the business used more cash than it brought in. It spent more on assets and investments than the business brought in, and raised the rest from loans or shares. Customers take longer to pay than they did in FY24, which ties up more of the company's money in unpaid bills.

Is it a good business? Six questions

Each answer is about that one question, read from the documents; tap one for the evidence. Not a view on the shares.

Savy Infra and Logistics earns its money by doing earthwork and trucking for large contractors and by trading minerals, using rented trucks and machines, and its sales have grown very fast.

Its weak spots are a few big customers, thin margins on trading, and a lot of money tied up in unpaid bills and stock.

WatchCan it set its own prices? It negotiates each job with large contractors who have already won the main project, and its margin fell in the latest year as trading grew.
The evidence. The prospectus says work is won by direct negotiation with companies that have already won bids. The FY26 notes say net profit did not keep up with turnover because of a lower gross operating margin.Prospectus, p.133; Annual Report 2025-26, p.85
WatchHow strong is it against rivals? The work needs few owned assets, so many organised and small firms can offer the same service.
The evidence. The prospectus describes a highly competitive market with organised and unorganised players, some with greater resources, and says pricing and client relationships decide the work.Prospectus, p.134
WatchWho are its customers?A handful of large contractors give most of the work, on purchase orders rather than long contracts, though the customer list has widened.
The evidence. The largest customer gave 50.28% of FY25 revenue and the top five 74.90%. By October 2025 orders came from 19 customers.Prospectus, p.31 and p.112; Infomerics rating note, Nov 2025, p.3
WatchDoes it need a lot of money? It spends little on machines, but growth has tied up a lot of cash in money owed by customers and in stock, and the business used cash in the latest year.
The evidence. Trade receivables of ₹137.8 cr and inventory of ₹78.1 cr at March 2026, against ₹96.9 cr and ₹48.1 cr a year earlier; cash from operations was an outflow of ₹51.3 cr in FY26.Annual Report 2025-26, p.63 and p.66
AverageCan it keep finding new work?It has added customers and states quickly and held a sizeable list of orders, but each order runs for months, not years, and must be won again.
The evidence. Twenty two orders worth ₹465.9 cr from 19 customers at October 2025, with contract periods of one to eighteen months. All its work came from one group until FY22.Infomerics rating note, Nov 2025, p.2 and p.3
WatchDo good and bad years swing a lot?Where the work comes from changes a great deal from year to year, as projects start and finish.
The evidence. Gujarat gave 59.16% of FY24 revenue but 11.51% in FY25, while Maharashtra rose from 3.05% to 60.07%.Prospectus, p.113
